Welcome to Yixiu (the "App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

The username you provide when registering or logging in, along with your email or phone number (used for account verification and recovery), and your password. Passwords are stored encrypted; we cannot read them in plain text.

1.2 Personal Information You Provide (for AI readings)

When using AI features such as BaZi analysis, name analysis, or tarot readings, you may optionally provide your gender, birth date, birth time, and birth region. This information is used only to generate personalized insights, and you may choose not to provide it.

1.3 Usage Data

• AI analysis records (the questions you submit and the insights generated)
• Practice plans and check-in data
• Quick notes (text)
• Orders and membership/subscription information
• Content you submit via the "Contact Us" feature

1.4 Information We Do NOT Collect

The App does not collect your geographic location, does not access your microphone, and does not read your contacts or photo library. All information needed for readings is entered by you manually.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to: provide core features (almanac, practice plans, quick notes); generate AI-based personalized insights; process subscriptions and payments; improve our product and service; and safeguard your account and transactions.

3. Storage and Protection

We protect your information with security measures including encrypted transmission (HTTPS). We keep your personal information only as long as necessary to provide the services. Unless otherwise required by law, we delete or anonymize your information when you delete your account or within the period required by applicable law.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We never sell your personal information to third parties. We only share information when necessary:

• With your explicit consent;
• When required by law or a competent authority;
• With an encrypted service provider engaged to deliver AI analysis (which processes data only on our instructions and is bound by confidentiality).

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid features are completed through the Apple App Store (In-App Purchase).

• Subscriptions are auto-renewing. Within 24 hours before the end of a subscription period, Apple will charge your App Store account for the next period until you cancel.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in iOS "Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions". You can keep using the service until the end of the current period.
• Virtual goods are non-refundable. Refund requests must be handled through the official App Store channels.
• The App never collects any payment information (such as bank cards). Payments are handled securely by Apple.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, supplement, or delete your personal information, and to delete your account. You can manage your information under "Me > Settings", or contact us using the details below. We will respond to your request promptly.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, you may also have the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for adults. If you are a minor, please use the App under the guidance of a parent or guardian and provide personal information only with their consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. On significant changes, we will show the updated policy in the App and ask for your consent again. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy. The latest version of this policy is always available on this page.
